Day Care Curriculum

Cool Things We Learn

Our philosophy is that each student learns at his or her own pace and our curriculum is designed to support that. Our most important goal is that we encourage our students to be active, creative and enthusiastic learners. Students are taught not only educationally, but also on a holistic spectrum that addresses their social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs.  We implement sensory integration into all of our programs in order to give our students the tools needed to organize the sensory information that they use in their daily lives, and this allows them to learn at a more in-depth level.

Our Curriculum Identifies Goals in All Areas of Development:

COGNITIVE

Students are given the tools to become confident learners by building a basic foundation in core areas, such as reading-readiness, language (sign language) and mathematics, through our in-depth educational programs.

SOCIAL

Students are taught how to interact with students and staff, feel comfortable in school, trust their new environment, make friends and feel that they are part of the group.

EMOTIONAL

Students develop independence and self-control as well as learning to have a positive outlook and attitude towards life.

PHYSICAL

By giving our students a variety of indoor and outdoor physical activities, such as yoga, climbing wall, floor exercises, free-play, organized sports, etc. students develop fine and large motor skills.
